Granada Living Land: Innovation Ecosystem for Territory and Soil

Granada Living Land is established as a Living Lab, that is, a unique innovation ecosystem centered on the territory and the soil in the province of Granada. It is developed within the framework of the European SOILCRATES project, with the aim of promoting strategic synergies between producers, public administrations, companies, universities, research centers, and citizens.

The ecosystem integrates multidisciplinary efforts to promote sustainability, the circular economy, and the resilience of the environment, focusing on the preservation and recovery of the soil, consolidating itself as a pioneering model of territorial collaboration.

We provide solutions related to proposals, and feedback to organizations, including those in the third sector, public institutions, companies, and the university itself, addressing challenges related to land degradation processes. We help to open up and innovate in research projects and other academic and management initiatives by applying the principles of open innovation and citizen science. We promote social innovation through a collaborative work methodology and a design approach. This method integrates research into new opportunities, fosters the development of new ideas, and supports the evaluation and testing of new products and services. We generate social impact through innovation and training.
