Morad Mirzaei, Ph.D. in soil resources management and researcher from the University of Tehran, Iran (2021), is interested in conducting research about soil management practices in croplands and evaluating the influence that they may have on soil quality, crop productivity, and the dynamic of carbon and nitrogen under diversified cropping systems. 

The recent research is focused on determining the effectiveness of different soil conservation approaches including green manuring, cover cropping, postharvest crop residue management, and livestock manure management for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, crop performance, and soil properties under irrigated and rainfed conditions.
