Salvador Gutiérrez Salcedo

Associate professor (Department of Computer Science and Artificial IntelligenceRNM-197 and DaSCI; University of Granada)

PhD Salvador Gutiérrez, Computer Engineer graduated from Universidad de Jaén, currently works as Associate Professor at the Universidad de Granada. He holds a Master’s Degree in Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems from Universidad de Granada and earned his PhD from Universidad de La Rioja, with a doctoral thesis titled «Artificial Intelligence in Digital Agriculture. Towards In-field Grapevine monitoring using Non-invasive Sensors».

His research focuses on developing novel artificial intelligence models for precision agriculture, particularly for early disease detection and physiological crop analysis using non-invasive sensors, hyperspectral and fluorescence imaging, and advanced deep neural network architectures with data fusion strategies.
